“I joined as a CASA Advocate because I wanted to make a real, tangible difference in my community.”

“I found out we had to write reports and I don’t write well. I thought that was going to be a big struggle… And it worked out that the staff helped me work through that.”

How much time does it take?
Most CASA volunteers dedicate approximately 10-15 hours per month advocating for a child.

Will I receive training?
Yes. Volunteers complete training before being assigned a case and continue receiving support throughout their volunteer journey.

What does a CASA volunteer actually do?
CASA volunteers advocate for a child’s best interests by building relationships, gathering information, and ensuring the child’s voice is heard throughout the court process.
